Meriem LeClair comes from the southern deserts of Tunisia—famously known as the filming site for Star Wars’ “Tatooine.” After learning music in Tunisia, her journey brought her to Minnesota, where she found both a new home and a renewed musical sense. Blending energetic, soulful Tunisian folk songs with Middle Eastern percussion, her music reflects a heritage shaped by centuries of Mediterranean, North African, French, Greek, and Turkish influences.
